Lykan Hypersport: The first Lebanese supercar

There’s a new supercar on the road and this time it’s making its way through the Middle East. The Lykan Hypersport, a creation of supercar startup W Motors, is in its pre-production stage.

W Motors is the very first Arab developer of luxury sports cars based in the Middle East. They introduced the Lykan Hypersport at the International Qatar Motor Show in July, 2013 and gave potential buyers all the more reason to purchase this beauty at the vehicle’s showcasing in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, Belgium and Spain.

Only seven of these cars will be designed and sold at $3.4 million, ranking them as the third most expensive cars, following the Lamborghini Veneno ($4.5 million) and the Maybach Exelero ($8 million).

To justify its outrageously high costs, this luxury vehicle is designed to include jewels and diamonds in its headlights. The front lights are composed of titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds. Owners are given the choice between a selection of rubies, diamonds, or sapphires to be integrated into the vehicle during their purchase.

According to Motor Authority, owners will also receive a Cyrus Klepcys watch, said to be valued at around $200,000 upon purchase. Now they won’t have an excuse to lose track of time while riding around in this piece of art. Hopefully we’ll catch one of these Lebanese supercars driving through Downtown, Beirut sometime soon.
